Simple Pleasure #8: Joyful Snowmen
While I wandered around Berlin, I took a quick jaunt through a corner of the Tiergarten (one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city). I arrived at the Reichstag (the seat of the German parliament). Seeing this building happened by chance, and I enjoyed reveling in the impromptu snowmen that people had made in the building’s front lawn due to the snowy weather. It brought a smile to my face to see the joy and childlike gaiety happening in such cold temperatures.
For a moment or two, I didn’t care that I couldn’t feel my toes; I just enjoyed the humor and beauty created by others.
